The smart ASS
How does it feel to be one ?
mmm... really not very good.
Yesterday at 3 am i found out that i can't sleep while fideling in bed with my book "not without my daughter" so i went up roming in my cool house checking my Home theater, wow very cool.
i don't know why and i seriously question my self why have i dont the following...
i went to the Home theater bent down to check its trasnformer that changes input voltage from 220V (Egypt voltage) to 110V (USA voltage) since i bought the system from the US.
i found this very intimadating buttong on the transformer, an attractive button that can go up and down, and it was indicating 220V, without me reading or thinking for a second or knowing even why... i just changed the buttong. changed the buttong to 110V i heard very loud noise and i found my DVD home theater lights are booming and flashing and some fire works happend.
with an innocent look at the Home theater screen wondering why is it doing this... i realized that my dear Home theater that i love and i use in every thing has left our World...
after this accident i decided to read what was on the transformer, so it took me 10 second to read what indicated that i just input a voltage of 220V instead of 110V to my system.
i didnt know till now why did i do this... i just went to sleep thanking my god that it was my own home theater !!! Smart ASS...
